Custom Orders

Every piece is custom-made to order. Once your quote is approved, design development begins.

Design revisions are collaborative and flexible. Minor adjustments are included as part of the process. Significant changes to the original design direction, or repeated full redesigns after substantial development, may incur additional design fees.

Production begins only once the final design is approved.

Returns and Refunds

Because each piece is crafted to order, all sales are final. No refunds or returns are accepted once production has begun.

Resizing

One complimentary resize is offered within three months of pickup or delivery when the design allows. Additional resizing may be subject to fees.

Warranty and Repairs

West of Fourth provides a one year craftsmanship warranty covering structural workmanship concerns that may arise under normal wear.

Accent stones lost due to a verified craftsmanship issue within this period will be replaced.

Normal wear, impact damage, misuse, loss, or accidental damage are not covered under warranty. Complimentary inspections are available by request.

Heirloom Stones

Heirloom diamonds and gemstones may be incorporated into custom designs. While every precaution is taken during setting, client-supplied stones are set at the client’s own risk. West of Fourth cannot be responsible for pre-existing flaws, structural weaknesses, or breakage in heirloom or third-party stones.

Shipping and Pickup

Pieces may be shipped securely or arranged for local pickup. Once a piece has been shipped, liability transfers to the client.

Payments and Quotes

All projects receive a detailed quote before design begins. A non-refundable deposit, typically fifty percent, is required to begin design and production. The remaining balance is due upon completion. Sales tax applies.

Rush orders or significant changes requested after production has begun may incur additional costs.

Insurance

Clients are encouraged to insure their jewellery through their homeowner, renter, or jewellery-specific policy. We are happy to provide recommendations upon request.
